Special Card for a Special Day!

This card is unique and seems like a great one to showcase on the last day of Sale-a-bration, Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year.

I made this card when I attended a card class hosted by Diana Buckingham.  She is phenomenal at figuring out how to make a project.  This card is neat because when you pull the tab/ribbon the car moves along the slot.  Car from Diana's class

Notice the placement of the car in the photo below and how we stamped in the slot – I put xxooxx’s because I plan to send this card to my daughter.  It’s a great birthday card, isn’t it?  To make it a more masculine card, you might want to change up the colors and leave off the butterflies.

Stamp Set – Sheltering Tree, Beautiful Ride, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock – Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Whisper White, 2014-2016 In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink – Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Early Espresso, Basic Black
Accessories – Elegant and Bitty Butterfly Punches, Word Window Punch, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Snail Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals

The 2014-2016 In-Colors will be retiring soon.  It doesn’t take long for the cardstock and re-inkers to sell out once Stampin’ Up! releases theh Retiring Products List.  My suggestion is you stock up on your favorite 2014-2016 In-Colors now while they are still available; Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow amd Tangelo Twist.

Better yet is to order today, March 31st – it’s the last day to take advantage of Sale-a-bration.  Choose a FREE item from teh Sale-a-bration Flyers for each $50 you spend (before shipping and tax).  Access flyers on the right sidebar of my blog.

If your wish list is a long one – purchase the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit for $99 + tax and fill it with up to $156 worth of products that YOU choose.  This Sale-a-bration deal is $30 more than $125 worth of product that the kit usually contains.  Shipping is FREE on the Starter Kit which is another 10% savings.

It’s easy to join!  Click Here.  Hobby Demonstrators welcome – use the demonstrator discount just to save money on your own purchases.  No need to hold classes and workshops if you don’t want to.  View this previous post to see a list of reasons  why I joined Stampin’ Up!
