Here is a quick card for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. I have to admit that I’m into bright cheery colors these days since we wait so long for summer to arrive in Wisconsin. That made this color combination difficult for me to work with. But this is why I participate in challenges, to stretch my creativity, and in the end this masculine birthday card turned out perfect. with “no frills”.
Are you ever unsure of a card that you make? Think it needs something extra? That’s how I felt about my this card.
Then I went for a bike ride and came back ready to improve the card. I stamped a second fish on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut it, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Here’s the finished card.
Sometimes it’s good to walk away from a project. When you come back to it, you may be surprised with your creativity!
