I decided to try my hand at the collage technique when designing my card for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. It was fun to combine different elements in the Awesomely Artistic stamp set to create the collage effect.
Stamp Set – Awesomely Artistic, Cottage Greetings
Cardstock – Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White
Ink – Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Old Olive, Pool Party
Accessories – Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Pearl Basic Jewels, Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive
Decorated Inside of Card
It’s easy to change sentiments to create a card for a different occasion. I also made a sympathy card just like this one. I like to have sympathy cards on hand because when I need one, I’m sad and not in a mood to stamp.
Stamping Tip: Stamp the sentiment first and add the other elements. I stamped off the Old Olive and Pool Party for lighter images that wouldn’t overpower the sentiment.
