Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for August 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampin’ Up! cutting tools. There are so many wonderful punches, framelits and edgelits available that help make papercrafting more detailed and fun! We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
For my project I created a Fancy Fold card and featured the Flourish Thinlits and Classic Label Punch to do my cutting. Here is my card when it is closed.
The top panel opens from the bottom up, like this.
Then the flower panel opens from right to left. This is the card when it is completely opened.
Stamp Set – Thoughtful Banners
Cardstock – Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (available Sept. 1st in Holiday Catalog
Ink – Rich Razzleberry
Accessories – Classic Label Punch, Petal Burst Embossing Folder, Flourish Thinlits Dies, Big Shot, Precision Base Plate, Big Shot Die Brush, Linen Thread, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Snail Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin’ Trimmer
Stop back tomorrow and I’ll have a photo tutorial with card measurements along with tips for cutting the front panel.
