Merry Christmas to you! I’m up early today excited that my son and grandchildren will be coming later. It’s hours away yet before they arrive but I’ve always been the first one up on Christmas morning and this year is no different.
Today I want to take time to share some cards that I received this holiday season. It’s always a treat to receive a card that was handcrafted with love.
This first Fancy Fold card was created by Cindy Richter-Groshek and features the Delicate Ornament and Perfect Pines Thinlit Dies. The Gold Glimmer Paper is striking over Red Foil. I’m not sure the photograph captures the full beauty of the card.
See this previous post for Fancy Fold Tutorial.
My upline, Lisa Pretto, sent this next card which includes several kinds of Specialty Papers. This WOW card, took my breath away when I opened the envelope – it is that beautiful!
The card base was made with Shimmery White Cardstock and overlayed with Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. Gold Foil and Gold Glimmer Paper trees were cut using the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits Dies. Gold Metallic Thread under the trees adds interest and depth.
The last card I’m showcasing today was created by my friend, Bev Gomez. I met her at my very first corporate Stampin’ Up! Event. I haven’t seen her since, but we have kept in touch for almost 7 years via Facebook and snail mail.
Bev’s card features the Totally Trees stamp set. This stamp set is retiring on January 3rd and I will truly miss it. There are so many more design possibilities than I have had a chance to create.
May this Christmas be filled with time spent with friends and family. Of course, after all the celebrations and get togethers, I hope you find time to stamp, scrapbook or papercraft.
Join me at one of my upcoming Ring in the New Year Card Classes on January 3rd or 8th.
Thanks for stopping by. Merry Christmas.…Happy Stamping!
