Here is another Clean and Simple (CAS) card made using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.

Cardstock – Early Espresso, Delightful Dijon, Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink – Early Espresso
Accessories – Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Big Shot, Precision Base Plate, Gold Wink of Stella, Metallics Enamel Shapes, Snail Adhesive
I used the Gold Wink of Stella to highlight the body of these dragonflies. It really stands out when you look at the card in person.
You may have noticed the small “halo” near the capitalized “T” – I’m keeping the card and will send it out anyway. Because I stamped on a piece of designed series paper, I decided that the “blip” did not detract from the card enough to toss it in the trash.
As I once heard Shelly Gardner, CEO of Stampin’ Up!, say at a live demonstration – “it’s good enough for the person it’s going to”. I often remind myself, and my customers, of that saying. If a card is perfect and mass printed, it might be called “Hallmark”.
A handcrafted card is like sending a hug with a fold in the middle!
