Welcome to the Pals’ June Blog Hop. We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects using “Anything with Wings” .
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Today’s card showcases a technique that I haven’t done for quite some time – Embedded Embossing! In the card below, I chose to use circles that are embedded in the cardstock using the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder.
Stamp set – Lilypad Lake, Itty Bitty Greetings
Cardstock – Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Pool Party, Soft Seafoam, Whisper White
Ink – Momento Black
Accessories – Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, Lakeside Dies, Stampin’ Blends – Flirty Flamingo,Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive
Embedded Embossing Technique – It’s easy to do!
- Adhere punched shapes or die cuts to cardstock (I used a glue stick)
- Emboss cardstock with your favorite embossing folder
- That’s all there is to it!
Imagine the creative possiblities when you vary the embedded shapes and/or embossing folders!
More inspiration awaits!
