This week I decided to feature the same stamp set for each blog post. I look forward to hearing how you like that format. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know if I should do this again in the future with a different stamp set.
Here’s the next Daisy card using the Daisy Lane stamp set. The daisy was stamped on top of a unique background that was created with an acrylic block.
Stamp Set – Daisy Lane
Cardstock – Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight,
Ink – Old Olive, Crushed Curry
Accessories – Balmy Blue & Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers, Spritzer, Snail Adhesive
The white Daisy is one that was left over from my first card this week – you can see it in this post. I ended up with an extra daisy image that was created by Heat Embossing on Vellum Cardstock with White Embossing Powder. I didn’t want it to go to waste and it looked great as the top layer on the flower for today’s card.
Create a Unique Background
- Use markers to color on Acrylic Block
- Spritz the Acrylic Block with water
- Stamp the Acrylic Block onto cardstock
Each background will vary depending on intensity of marker colors, amount of water used, and type of cardstock (Whisper White, Shimmer White, Watercolor Paper)
Did you see the stamp sets that were added to the Clearance Rack? You might find a great stamp set at a discounted price. Take a Look – products available while supplies last.
If you are reading this early in the day today, Trimmer Blades will be available for purchase at 11:00 AM (CST). They won’t last long, so act fast!
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping!
