Forever Fern with Acrylic Block Background

The Forever Greenery Suite of Products has been getting a workout in my stamping studio. I love everything about it! The sentiment on this card comes from another new stamp set, Lovely You.

Create a unique background using an acrylic block – directions below.

Stamp Set – Forever Fern, Lovely You
Ink – Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Early Expresso
Cardstock – Pretty Peacock, Whisper White
Accessories – Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Pear Pizzaz & Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Spritzer, Acrylic Block, Snail Adhesive

Stamping Tips:

Color on an Acrylic Block using Stampin’ Write Markers – I started at the top with the lightest color and worked my way down Clear Block “D” with the darkest at the bottom. Use side of brush end on the marker or you will ruin the tip.
Lightly spritz the block with water using the Stampin’ Spritz
Tip the block slightly so some of the water drops run together
Stamp the block on your cardstock, holding block in place for a few seconds (I like to have a cushion under the cardstock – Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Annual Catalog, etc.)
Let cardstock dry before stamping images on top of the background (speed up drying time using the Heat Tool)
