Happy Valentine’s Day!

Better late than never.  I confess that I got out of bed early this morning to create this Valentine Card for my husband.  Most of my Valentines had to be mailed out so those are the ones I created in January and early February.  Then I got treats ready to hand out in person to friends during the day.

I guess I work well under pressure because I finished this card in plenty of time to give it to Dave this afternoon when we had our special Valentine’s Day dinner.  I made French Onion Pot Roast in the InstaPot which turned out SO-O-O yummy and Dave grilled asparagus (my favorite way to have it prepared).  I’m learning to trust my Instapot cookbook and won’t be afraid to try the next recipe that sounds good.

Here is how I decorated the inside of the card.

Option 1:

Included with Both Options:
The Card Kits will include card bases, pre-cut layers for matting, designer series paper, die cuts, oval labels for stamping sentiments, & envelopes.  You will need to provide ink, adhesive. and Dragonfly Dreams stamp set & Dragonfly Punch (or use alternate stamp set).

Supplies I used in addition to Dragonfly Dreams Bundle (feel free to use inks you have on hand, but these are the specific ones that coordinate with the Dandy Garden patterned paper):
Ink – Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow, & Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock – Calypso Coral, Misty Moonlight, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White/Basic White, Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper
Accessories –  Double Oval  Punch, Stitched with Whimsy Dies (your card kit pieces will be die cut, so you don’t need the Stitched with Whimsy Dies to create the cards as pictured) Blending Brushes or Stampin’ Daubers, to color dragonfly.  You can also use Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, Water Painters or Blender Pen with your ink to color the dragonfly.
