April was a great month in our house. While we received lots of cards for Dave’s birthday & Easter, I wanted to showcase some of the handcrafted cards we received. First up is this unique Easter Card from my friend Sherry L.
Look at the card when you pull the sides out and open it up! WOW! This is called a theater fold card. I plan to give it a try soon!
Next up is a cute Easter bunny card from my downline Cathy S. I forgot to take a photo of this how this card opens. The card is in Florida and I’m in Wisconsin, so it’s not available to me as I write this post. But it has me inspired to create a fun fold like this for a future class.
And here is the last Easter card. Beautiful flowers to celebrate that our Lord and Savior is not dead, He is Risen!
A beautiful thank you card from my friend Brenda L. Love the colors….reminds me of a vineyard. I guess she knows I enjoy a glass of wine!
Here is a birthday card Dave received from our sister-in-law. Pretty sure it’s one I made in the past. LOL! Toni has purchased cards from me and it is a layout used at a past Stamp Camp. (I always have a rack of cards in my stamping area. That makes them readily available for me to grab when I need a card, but I am always happy to sell them, too)
And lastly, a card that got crunched in the mail. HA! This birthday card for Dave came from our friend Karen L. I recognize it from the “Light the Candles” card kit by Stampin’ Up! That kit was so popular it sold out quickly. I’ve been waiting for it to come back in stock.
