Today was a cool, rainy day here in Central Wisconsin. My husband was in the basement planting seeds in plant starter trays. It seems only fitting that I should share the card I created for our daughter.
Anne has been working on a backyard project; creating a bit of an oasis – clearing out overgrown shrubs/weeds and putting in a container garden. Along with that will be space to sit and enjoy nature. In all things plants, Anne and her dad are alike!
This is my first go at a “theater style fun fold card”. They are not as hard to create as you might think and they are such a “WOW” card for the recipient. Just take it step by step and you can do it too.
Here is the card when it is opened up….
Stamp Set – Home & Garden, Hydrangea Haven
Cardstock – Garden Green, Cinnamon Cider, Balmy Blue, Basic White, Silver Foil, Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper
Ink – Momento Black
Accessories – Garden Dies, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Paper Snips, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal
Stamping Tip: The pots and potted plants were fussy cut from the designer series paper using the Paper Snips; one “must have” tool. Add one to your next order, you’ll be glad you did!
If you’ve had your eye on this stamp set, don’t wait too long. Tuesday, May 2nd is the last day it will be available for purchase; the stamp set will be retiring on May 3rd when the new Annual Catalog goes live. It’s a great set to create projects for plant & garden lovers!
