You may have been missing me on my blog & wondering where I’ve been. Just when I was recovered from my recent surgery, I came down with a sinus infection that quickly turned into an ear infection. That resulted in a perforated eardrum! The loud “POP” and one time burst of pain has resolved. Unfortunately I can’t hear well out of that ear.
For those of you who know me, I was already hearing impaired and now I am struggling even more. Please be kind to people who ask you to repeat your words or who misunderstand something that you’ve said. My ENT doctor expects my eardrum to heal in about 2-3 months. If not, I will likely need surgery to repair the eardrum. UGH!
