I passed over the Tailor Made Tags Dies in the Annual Catalog many times.  But when I started seeing the tags used on cards & projects, I knew I had to add the set of dies to my collection.

Put Some Glimmer in YOUR Next Project!

I needed a birthday card for my daughter’s fun-loving boyfriend.  I didn’t want anything fussy but still special.  Here’s what I came up with.  The Ombre Specialty Paper gave it a bit of sparkle and presents a great background for the Playful Alphabet letters.

The Ombre Specialty Paper comes in 12×12 sheets and each package contains 1 sheet of each of these 4 colors – Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Night of Navy, & Poppy Parade.  For this card, I chose to use the lighter end of the Mango Melody sheet.

New House Card

My daughter and 2 others went together and purchased a triplex in San Francisco.  Of course I had to create a card to celebrate her first home purchase.  Their house is the blue one in the middle.

Here is the card I created.  I tried to replicate her new neighborhood and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.

I have kept the retired stamp set, “In the City” for years!  So glad to have it in my stash as it had the perfect images for my card.

I even colored the cars to mimic real life; black for him & blue for my daughter!

Below you can see a little metal heart I had in my stash from a retired embellishment kit.  I don’t remember which one it was but it sure came in handy for this card!
