I love it when Stampin’ Up! offers the perfect stamp set I need to create a card for someone special.  This birthday card was sent to a friend who grew up and then maintained her own dairy farm.  What better way to celebrate her birthday than to “ party til the cows come home”.

My husband & I are spending the day with my daughter and her boyfriend in the wine country of the Santa Cruz mountains.  This seems like a perfect card to celebrate my birthday trip.

Stamping Tips

  • The white area around the wine glasses looked a bit too stark white for me, so I stamped the dots in Blushing Bride.
  • I used the new Black Stampin’ Dimensionals from the Combo Pack to lift up the words “Happy Hour” – the black makes them lesss noticeable under the narrow strip of Gray Granite cardstock than the white dimensionals.
