Thanksgiving Table Favor

Thanksgiving Table Favors

Stamp Set – Exclusive stamp set from September 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit (Wickedly Sweet), Hardwood, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock – Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink – Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede
Accessories – Fry Box Bigz L Die, Label Bracket and 1-1/4″ Circle Punches, Bitty Banner Framelits, Linen Thread, 1/8″ Gold Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Fast Fuse, 4″ X 6″ Cellophane Bags

I’m making these table favors for Thanksgiving with my husband’s family.  We will be traveling a distance for the holiday this year so I have everything stamped, cut/punched and will assemble the fry box once I get to my destination.  I don’t want them to get crushed while I’m traveling.  The cellophane bags are filled with candy treats but I’m sure you can think of other things to put inside the Fry Box!  🙂

Stamping Tip: Stamp your sentiment first and then cut it out with the framelit.
Use Fast Fuse or Tear & Tape to securely assemble the Fry Box.

Imagine the smiles you will see if you create table favors for your holiday table.  The Fry Box Bigz Die is a great starting point!

Awesomely Artistic, a Collage and PPA 276

I decided to try my hand at the collage technique when designing my card for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.  It was fun to combine different elements in the Awesomely Artistic stamp set to create the collage effect.

Stamp Set – Awesomely Artistic, Cottage Greetings
Cardstock – Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White
Ink – Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Old Olive, Pool Party
Accessories – Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Pearl Basic Jewels, Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive

Decorated Inside of Card

It’s easy to change sentiments to create a card for a different occasion.  I also made a sympathy card just like this one.  I like to have sympathy cards on hand because when I need one, I’m sad and not in a mood to stamp.

Stamping Tip: Stamp the sentiment first and add the other elements.  I stamped off the Old Olive and Pool Party for  lighter images that wouldn’t overpower the sentiment.

Try your hand at the sketch challenge.  Visit Pals Paper Arts to upload your card and/or to see what other people have made.
