I used the Aquapainter with Seaside Spray and Highland Heather ink to create the background on the Watercolor paper before stamping the water image from the High Tide stamp set.

“Well Said” – come stamp with me….

Sometimes designer series paper can do the work for you.  On this card, the paper becomes the focal point and no stamped image is required.  I added a sentiment, a bit of ribbon trim, and the card is done!  We all need a quick and easy card design sometimes.

“Rooted in Nature” – Sponged Sky Background

Does this card make you think of a beautiful sunrise/sunset?  I used a Stamping Sponge to add color for the background.  By overlapping the colors as I went along, they blend into each other giving it a softer look.
