Painted Harvest Home Decor Plaque

Stampin-Up-Painted-Harvest-Home-Decor-10-x-10-Wood-Plaque-Debra-SImonis-Stampinup.jpg

Stamp Set – Painted Harvest
Ink – Crushed Curry, Early Expresso, Old Olive
Cardstock – Whisper White
Accessories – Leaf Punch, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Sponge, Tombow Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 10″ x 10″ Wood Plaque, Sunflower Folk Art Paint, Paint Brush

First I painted the wood plaque using the Folk Art paint.  After it dried, I sponged the edges of the plaque using Early Espresso ink.

Next step was to stamp the flowers, leaves, and sentiment on Whisper White cardstock and the plaque.  I found that I needed to stamp the flowers several times on the plaque.

The flowers on the cardstock were fussy cut using the Paper Snips and the leaves were punched out using the Leaf Punch.  The leaves were adhered using the Tombow glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere the sunflowers.

I still want to seal the plaque so I can put it outside on my porch.  I can’t wait to make a different home decor piece using the second wood plaque that I purchased!

I’d love to see a home decor project that you create.  Email me a photo: [email protected]
