Calendar Frame Makes a Great Gift

acrylic-frame

Here is a 3D project – an acrylic photo frame! ( I photograhed it multiple times and was not able to get it in focus any better. )

Easy Peasy that’s all I can say about this project – this designer series paper is so beautiful, I don’t think it needs extra embellishments.  I cut a 5 X 7″ piece of the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, adhered the Night of Navy mats, and slipped it into the frame.

The calendar and post it note stack were adhered directly to the plastic frame itself.  When the year is over and the calendar needs to be changed or the post it note need to be replaced, it’s easy to do without damaging the paper or cardstock.

I was in the mood for something cheery and non-winter!  It’s cold here in WI.  AND I wanted to try out the new Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils!

Stamping Tip:  Using the Watercolor Pencils,  color in as desired and use an Aquapainter or Blender Pen to blend the pencil colors.  On the bird’s breast above I used the Pumpkin Pie with Real Red near the bottom.  I really like how it turned out after blending with the Aquapainter.
