Zoo Babies Card for Diane Luth

I took a break from making holiday cards to create this sweet card to help welcome a new baby.  Pink and purple – great colors for a new little girl, don’t you think?

Cardstock – Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Bohemian DSP
Ink – Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette
Accessories – Bitty Banners Framelit Dies, Ovals Collection Framelits, Gold Metallic Thread, Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Stamping Tip: The Paper Snips  was used to snip out the giraffe image.  This scissors provides for expert cutting even in small areas.  Thin, precision-ground stainless steel tips cut to end of blade.  Features of this affordable scissors include:

Sheltering Tree with an Hombre Look

Day 3

Stamp Set – Sheltering Tree, Paper Pumpkin “Wickedly Sweet” Stamp Set (exclusive stamp set for Paper Pumpkin subscribers)
Cardstock – Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist, Whisper White, Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist
Accessories – Early Espresso 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon, Gold Sequin Trim, Sponge Dauber, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Stamping Tip: The leaves were inked up with Daffodil Delight ink.  Before stamping onto the cardstock, a sponge dauber was used to apply Tangelo Twist to the edges of the stamp. Crushed Curry ink was applied with a dauber in between the Daffodil Delight and Tangelo Twist to transition the colors.
