Bird Builder Punch

This sweet card was a favorite design amongst my customers who attended my April Card Classes.  The Bird Builder Punch is retiring from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog – get this punch while you can.  Once it sells out, it’s gone….forever!

Stamp Set – Suite Sayings
Cardstock – Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink – Bermuda Bay
Accessories – Bird Builder Punch, Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Stitched Ribbon, Bow Paper Clips Embellishments, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Stamping Tips:

  • the So Saffron Layer on this card was popped with dimensionals  giving it depth and added interest
  • add the Bow Paper Clip before adhering the So Saffron layer to the card – it’s just easier that way!
  • did you know that the “wing” from the Bird Builder Punch can be used as a candle flame?

It’s time for another Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge!  Have you played along?

This week the colors are celebrating spring!  At least, that’s how the combination inspired me.

Stamp Set – All About Everything (bonus stamp set included in the April Paper Pumpkin Kit)
Cardstock – Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Schoolhouse DSP
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder
Accessories – Snail Adhesive

I guess you tell when a card is super clean and simple when there is only one thing listed under “Accessories”!!

Stamping Tip:  Trim 1/2″ off from the bottom of the card front.  Adhere a piece of Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the inside of the card.
