I decided to add a “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  Here’s is how it turned out.

Bear Hugs Bithday

Cardstock – Pacific Point, Real Red, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink – Archival Basic Black, Pacific Point, Real Red, Sahara Sand
Accessories – Aquapainter,  Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker, 3/4″ and 1″ Circle Punches, 1/8″ Silver Mini Brads, Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Paper-Piercing Tool, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Stamping Tips:

  • Aquapainter and Sahara Sand Ink were used to color in the bear
  • Paper-Snips used to fussy cut the hat and tie (or you can use the coordinating Bear Hugs Framelits Dies)
  • Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker used to give definition to facial features

Stamping Tip:

PPA 282 back of flower

I adhered the flower petals to a circle of cardstock. This is a view from the back.

The layout for this card is from the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge which you can see below.  I took the liberty to create a large flower  in place of the circle on the sketch.  The flower then became the focal point of my card.
