Maddie Bday Card

Stamp Set – Balloon Bash (recently retired)
Ink – Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride
Cardstock – Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Brights Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories – Decorative Label Punch, Paper Snips Scissors, Blender Pen, Snail Permanent Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Here is the first screen card  I made last month and  I realized that I forgot to post it.  This card was made for my granddaughter, Maddie.  She recently had her 6th birthday and  for those of you who follow my blog, you may remember, purple is her favorite color!

Little girls love princesses so I found a free printable coloring sheet on-line and printed the princess on Whisper White cardstock.  My Blender Pen along with the stamp pads were used to color in the image.

**Stamping Tip – If the Blender Pen touches the stamp pad directly,  the chemicals in the Blender Pen can ruin the stamp pad.  Instead, squeeze the stamp pad when it is closed, then open up the stamp pad and use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the inside cover of the stamp pad.  You can also apply ink to a clear block and then pick up the ink from the block with your Blender Pen.

The sentiment was stamped twice; once on Whisper White cardstock with Rich Razzleberry ink and the second time with Blushing Bride ink on Pink Pirouette cardstock.  I used the Paper Snips Scissors to  cut out the pink banner and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Video of Gift Bag Punch Board in Action

The other day I featured a gift bag that I had made using the new Gift Bag Punch Board by Stampin’ Up!  You can access that post here.

Here is a video showing how easy it is to use the punch board.  At only $20, the punch board is a bargain considering how much use will get out of it.
