Stamp Set – Birthday Blossoms
Cardstock – Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink – Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight
Accessories – Aquapainters, Snail Adhesive

This is one of the cards we’ll be making at my September Card Class.  I used the sketch from the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week as my starting point.  Since September is my birthday month, I wanted to include a birthday card in the mix along with some of the fall cards we’ll be making.

Stamping Tip:   I used the Aquapainter to pick up some Daffodil Delight ink from the lid of the ink pad and colored in the center of the flowers.

I was inspired to make this card when a customer shared a card as a “show & tell”.  Her card featured a similar layout. and I loved the classic look.

Buying Tip:  Get 3 colors of cardstock that coordinate with each package of Designer Series Paper when you purchase the Coordinating Cardsock Pack.  For instance, in the Timeless Elegance Cardstock Pack you will get 24 sheets (8 each of Basic Black, Sahara Sand, and Very Vanilla) which are colors featured in the designer series paper, Timeless Elegance.

Stampin’ Up! is making it easier to color coordinate even if you are on a limited budget.  One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the richness of their color collections and how easy it is to make great looking cards when you use coordinating products.  I know that Basic Black cardstock, ribbon, buttons, Designer Series Paper, etc will all coordinate perfectly when I use Stampin’ Up! products.
