If you have trouble designing your cards, you are not alone. As a demonstrator, I sometimes get stuck trying to decide which way to go with a card design.
When I was designing the card below, I had trouble deciding how I wanted the sentiment to be. I laid out several options before I settled on the one I liked best.
Which one would you choose? The sentiment stamped on the Lost Lagoon cardstock….
or the sentiment stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock?
This is the sentiment version I ended up using.
Stamp Set – Quiet Reflection, Charming Sentiments
Cardstock – Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper
Ink – Pretty Peacock
Accessories – Fern Embossing Folder, Charming Sentiments Dies, Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack, Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals
After I completed this card, I read that using a Blending Brush to apply ink to the Quiet Reflection stamp can result in a softer look. So I gave it a try as you can see below. I think the image does show up better using the Blending Brush! Hooray for 2nd tries!
