Recently while I was scrolling through Facebook, I came across a reel that demonstrated how to create pockets when you wrap a gift.  So…I had to give it a try with the birthday gift for my daughter.

I created a bookmark to put in one of the pockets.  The other pocket was left empty, but I could have filled it with another cute tag or even a gift card!

Here is the bookmark I made.

Bookmark Card

How about a card with a gift of a bookmark?  Change the sentiment and this would be perfect for a birthday too.

I left the inside panel blank because I wanted to handwrite a note to the recipient.

Stamping Tips:

  • cut card base 6-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (with the ling side on top, score at 2-1/4″ & 4-1/2″)
  • you can also use the Rotary Perforating Tip from the Take Your Pick Crafter Tips to perforate at 4-1/2″ instead of scoring
  • direct the recipient to cut on the score line to detach the bookmark or gently tear on the perforated line

Pop Up Fun Fold Card

Did you know that I have been stamping for about 16 years?  And that I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for almost 13 years?

When I first saw the Crafting With You stamp set in the catalog, it went to the top of my shopping list.  The bundle has lots of great stamping images and dies, but for this card I focused on sewing, painting and knitting because it is headed to my sister-in-law aka sister-in-friend!  She’s the best art quilter & painter that I know!

This card may look tame on the outside but it’s a fun pop-up card on the inside! This design was inspired by Susan Wormley.
