Campology – do you have your camping trip planned?

This is the time of year people look forward to summer vacations.  Many camping enthusiasts already have reservations booked for campsite or two.  My husband & I fall into that category; we actually booked one of our sites7 months ago!  Camping seems to have gotten even more popular during the recent pandemic.

Today’s fun fold card celebrates camping and vacations! This is a “faux step” fun fold – so quick and easy without having to measure and cut like traditional step cards.  Campology and Mountain Air stamp sets are great choices when you need to make a card for a camping or outdoor enthusiast.

Stamping Tip:  The tent image was fussy cut using the Paper Snips scissors and popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sharp tips make it perfect for cutting around images.

Home & Garden – it’s almost planting time….

Today was a cool, rainy day here in Central Wisconsin.  My husband was in the basement planting seeds in plant starter trays.  It seems only fitting that I should share the card I created for our daughter.

Anne has been working on a backyard project; creating a bit of an oasis – clearing out overgrown shrubs/weeds and putting in a container garden.  Along with that will be space to sit and enjoy nature.  In all things plants, Anne and her dad are alike!

This is my first go at a “theater style fun fold card”.  They are not as hard to create as you might think and they are such a “WOW” card for the recipient.  Just take it step by step and you can do it too.
