Thoughts and Prayers Tree on Sponged Background

Stamp Set – Thoughts and Prayers, Cottage Greetings
Ink – Pool Party, Momento Black
Cardstock – Pool Party, Whisper White, Schoolhouse DSP, Silver Foil
Accessories – Snail Adheisve, Stamping Sponge, Oval Collection Framelits, Big Shot

I used the Oval Framelit to create a stencil which I sponged with Pool Party Ink to create a back ground for the tree.  It’s a simple card with a some bling thanks to the Silver Foil Paper.  I love the look of Basic Black with Pool Party; it’s crisp and sharp.

Stamping Tip:  I cut each of my Stamping Sponges into 6 pie shaped wedges and have a sponge designated for each color of ink that I have in my collection.  I also staple a piece of the same color cardstock to the sponge and use it as a “handle” with the coordinating ink pad.
