Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “It’s the Sentiment That Counts” – showcasing new or favorite sentiments as the focal point of our projects.
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal and see a great line up of projects!
For my project, I wanted to showcase the “Here’s a Card” stamp set. It is a sentiment stamp set that has verses for both the front and the inside of cards! I’m always looking for new and different sentiments, so this stamp set was at the top of my list when the new catalog was released in June.
Stamp Set – Here’s a Card
Ink – Pretty Peacock
Cardstock – Basic Black, Soft Suede, Pretty Peacock. Whisper White, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Accessories – Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Leaves Trinkets, 1/4″ Copper Trim
At first glance this looks like an ordinary card. But when the card is opened up, you can see that it is a Tri-Fold Shutter Card.
Below you can see the inside sentiment for this card. To view all of the sentiments included in the Here’s a Card stamp set, scroll to the bottom of this post.
When the card is layed out flat, you can see how I positioned the papers to be symmetrical.
Instructions for creating the Tri-Fold Shutter Card can be found here.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-Up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share “My Favorite Season” projects. Don’t miss the fun!

I love different folds and this shutter card is great. The addition of the beautiful DSP makes it really special. You made a beautiful card with a perfect sentiment.
Thanks for the positive feedback on my card!
What a great way to show off this for led and all the DSP.

This is an extra-special card! I love the way you combined all the patterns — perfect!
Thanks much! I appreciate yourcomments.
Deb, I had to have this stamp set also and have used it quite a bit already. I especially like stamping the right hand sentiment, second from the top, on the back of my cards, LOL! You did a beautiful job showcasing the designer series paper in addition to the sentiment set. Great job, Pal!
I love the idea of stamping that sentiment on the back of the card. “I made you a card because you’re worth it” Thanks for the suggestion!
Such fun! I love the folds and the paper you chose is among my favorites! Thank you for the inspiration!
Fun folds are always a hit at my classes! Hope you make this style card – I’d love to see it!
Oh, I love this tri-fold technique and haven’t done one in ages! Love how you used different DSP patterns. I haven’t gotten this stamp set yet, but you are inching me closer LOL. Great card!!
Thanks for the positive feedback. I love all of the patterns included in the Gather Together Designer Seires Pack so it was hard to choose which ones to showcase on my card!
Deb, this is such a neat fold! Beautiful job! I may use this fold for an upcoming class 🙂
Thanks! I displayed this card at my September card classes and everyone requested that we make it in October. I’m sure your people will like it too!

Awesome card Deb! Everyone will want to make this card. Is it easier than it looks?
Yes, it sure is easier than it looks! Once I scored it acoording to the directions, it wcorked perfectly! It took me a second try to score properly, though. LOL!
