Last Monday I created some birthday cards for kids. I was asked to help send cards for the Make A Wish Foundation Birthday Card Project. What a great cause! Bringing a smile to the face of a child is something I can get excited about.
Because I wanted to make a stack of cards, I decided to use the Stack, Cut & Shuffle Technique; directions can be found on this post. I cut enough to assemble 6 cards of the same design…
…and then cut supplies for 3 different designs. I created a total of 9 cards in a flash. The thing that took the longest was coloring the cute images from the “By My Side” stamp set.
The cards above were created using the Fun on Wheels stamp set. I just stamped the images but there is also a coordinating set of dies! Click on the link and check it out. This bundle is a great option for cards for boys & teens! So fun!
Every month our group receives a list of kids that have upcoming birthdays and we send them a card. If you would like to help create cards that we can send in the future, please contact me for details. You can help by making any number of cards. Even one card a month will be appreciated.
