Card with Detachable Bookmark

Here is a card that we created at my card classes last week.  It’s a card with the little gift of a bookmark!  Easy to make & a surprise gift for the recipient.

Stamp Set – Wildflower Designs, Choose Happy
Cardstock – Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Regal Winter Flora DSP
Ink – Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia
Accessories – Take Your Pick Tool, Take Your Pick Crafter Tips, Unbounded Love Dies, Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Iridescent Faceted Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal, Handheld Hole Punch (Bookmark Tassel – non Stampin’ Up!)

Stamping Tips:

  • Card Base 5-1/2″ x 6-1/4″
  • Score at 2-1/4″ & 4-1/2″ with long side of card aligned at top of your Paper Trimmer
  • Use the Rotary Perforating Tip on the Take Your Pick Tool & Perforate along the  4-1/2″ score line
  • I found it easier to run the perforating tip on the cardstock if it was scored first

A Card is Born!

If you are like me, you end up with extra pieces in your crafting space.  The “thanks” on this card was from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.  I simply added patterned paper with a mat behind it, some embellishments and voila, a card was born!
