“Teepee Style” Fancy Fold Card

This fancy fold Teepee Style Card makes a huge statement but was not difficult to construct!  The design is oversized so you would need to create your own envelope or hand carry it to the recipient.  You can also adjust the size to make it smaller.

Stamp Set – Dragonfly Dreams
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Vellum
Cardstock – Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Brights Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories– Lots of Labels Framelits, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Big Shot, Precision Base Plate, Big Shot Die Brush, Whisper White Ribbon

Stamping Tip:  There is a vellum overlay on top of the stamped dragonfly image.  It lends dimension and extra interest to the card.

His & Hers Paper Bouquets!

My grandkids are in a dance recital this weekend and we can’t wait to see them.  Dave and I are traveling a distance to go to the recital so I wasn’t sure how real flowers would hold up.

Besides Maddie loves chocolate, so I created a bouquet of flowers and put Hershey Kisses in the centers of the flowers with Mini Glue Dots.  This bouquet should last longer than real flowers too; except for the chocolates – those will be gone in a flash!

Stamp Set – Crazy About You, Beautiful You
Ink – Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder
Cardstock – Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, retired Embossed Kraft Paper
Accessories – Medallion Flower and Scallop Circle Punches, Labels & Tags Framelits, Big Shot, Ribbon, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Paper Snips, Snail Adhesive, Tear & Tape, Mini Glue Dots (soup can, bamboo skewers, colored shreds)

This second bouquet is for my grandson who loves his hip-hop dance classes and fishing.  I couldn’t see giving Jack flowers, neither real ones nor those made of paper; so I made a bouquet of fish for him, complete with Rolo candies.

Stamp Set – Seaside Shore
Ink – Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, Tranquil Tide
Card Stock – Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Pacific Point, Tranquil Tide, Brights Designer Series Paper Stack, retired Embossed Kraft Card Stock
Accessories – Circle Punches, Metal Button, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Snail Adhesive, Tear & Tape, Mini Glue Dots (soup can, bamboo skewers, paper shreds)

I’m excited to see the kids’ response to these bouquets; hopefully they appreciate my labor of love!
