Glamper Greetings for Christmas Card

If you have a camper or send cards to people who do have a camper, you might want to invest in the Glamper Greetings stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

This is the first Christmas card I made using the stamp set but it won’t be the last.  I was inspired by a card on Pinterest but the designer was not listed so I can’t give the person credit.

Stamp Set – Glamper Greetings, Timeless Textures
Cardstock – Real Red, Smokey Slate, Whisper White
Ink – Momento Black, Sahara Sand
Accessories – Stampin’ Blends, Paper Snips, Linen Thread, Snail Adhesive

I love the Glamper Greetings stamp set!  We use our camper not only for weekend trips but also for extended get-aways.  It’s our home away from home.

Portions of the camper were paper pieced but I used the new Stampin’ Blends to color in the windows, wheels, hitch and Christmas tree.  The Stampin’ Blends markers are so smooth to color with which makes coloring and blending almost effortless!  You have to try them!

Handcrafted Gifts!

Most of the time I stamp to make cards but occasionally I make a home decor project.  You can make one too!

I have 2 Handcrafted Christmas Project Classes scheduled for this week on Monday, November 13th and Thursday, November 16th.  Email me ([email protected]) if you want to create one of these framed art projects.  I  have room at both classes and start times are flexible.  Choose a start time that fits your schedule as long as it’s between 1:30 PM & 6:00 PM.

Stampin Up Ready for Christmas Merry Patterns framed home decor project - Debra Simonis Stampinup.JPG

For this project I used the Ready for Christmas Bundle and the Merry Patterns stamp set along with the Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper Stack.

I started out planning to use a 5″ x 7″ frame but soon found out that I needed a 6″ x 8″ frame.  The first frame overlapped my decor piece so that you could no longer see the Crumb Cake border at all.  Some of  the stamped images were cut off by the frame also so I ended up mounting my 5″ x 7″ Crumb Cake base onto a 6″ x 8″ Whisper White piece.  That worked perfectly!

Framed Art makes a great home decor piece that you can give as a gift!  Make one for yourself and/or one for a friend or co-worker.  They will love a handcrafted gift from the heart.

(This project was inspired by Martha Inchley, a Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Member.)
