The good thing about having to go to the laundromat is that I have access to good internet.  I used to take the internet for granted but living in our camper this summer, I am appreciative when I can connect to reliable internet.

It’s been rainy here in Central Wisconsin which is perfect for carving out crafting time.  Here is one of the cards I created.

It’s easy to layer the leafy greenery pieces using the Timeless Arrangements Dies.  I simply overlaid them with the glue and adhered one set behind the top of the sentiment piece & one set behind the bottom of the sentiment piece.  Easy Peasy!

Happy Halloween!

Fall is definitely in the air.  We’ve been turning on the furnace in our camper the past few nights.  Today, my husband even put on blue jeans so I know it’s cooling off!  Soon we’ll be heading back to Florida!

I’m in love!  This week I discovered how to create a Faux Shuuter Card.

Cardstock – Real Read, Basic Black, Basic White, Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Ink – Real Red
Accessories – Paper Snips, Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins, Stampin’ Seal, Black Stampin’ Dimensionals Combo Pack

The inside is pretty simple…

Faux Shutter Card

  • 4 strips of black cardstock ¼” wide
  • White Cardstock 2-1/4” x 2-1/4”
  • Black Cardstock 1-7/8’ x 1-7/8”
  • White Cardstock 1-3/4” x 1-3/4”
  • Scraps of Designer Series Paper

 

  1. Position 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” on card base
  2. Adhere 1-7/8’ x 1-7/8” black mat to white mat layer
  3. Adhere ¼” strips of black cardstock
  4. Adhere DSP
  5. Trim excess cardstock & DSP from card base
  6. Decorate 1-3/4” x 1-3/4” Basic White Cardstock
  7. Adhere to black mat layer
  8. Embellish as desired
