The base of this fun fold card was created from a 12″ x 12″ sheet of patterned paper.

Stampin’ Tip:

Start with a 12″ x 12″ sheet of DSP
Cut at 5-1/2″, Score at 1-3/4″, 4-3/4″, & 7-3/4″
I created 2 card bases from one sheet of DSP, scored them on opposite sides so the finished cards with similar, but different.

Below you can see the 2nd card that I made from the the sheet of DSP.

This card is similar but the DSP was scored so the Pretty Peacock is the top fold. I also used the soon-to- be released Prairie Grass stamp set.

The cards above are from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, “Sweeter with You”. I love having the projects designed and prepared for assembly. It gives me a break from designing cards or other projects for my blog & classes. I can just sit, stamp, and assemble like when friends & customers come to my classes.

I talk about Paper Pumpkin a lot. It has been around for over 10 years! The kits have improved tremendously over the years. If you haven’t tried the kits recently, I encourage you to give Paper Pumpkin another try.

More cards in the kits, more detailed die cuts, & larger stamp sets are the first things that come to mind about the improved Paper Pumpkin kits. Some people like to use the pieces in the kits and create alternate cards. I prefer to just create the kit as designed.

On the card above, I matted the die cut and mounted it on an embossed layer of Basic White.

On the card above I used the Adhesive Sheet to create a gold foil sticker. So easy to adhere words to projects when you first back the cardstock with an Adhesive Sheet. After you die cut, the words are a sticker!!
