A Special Card for a Special Marine Biologist

This card was a labor of love for my daughter who is presenting and defending her thesis this week for her PhD in Oceanography/Marine Biology.  What an accomplishment for her!  She is realizing the dream she had since she was about 8 years old – becoming a marine biologist who specializes in acoustic research of whales and dolphins! High Tide – and Directions on How To Create Your Own Background Paper

I created these multicolored backgrounds in a flash!  I had so much fun trying different color combinations and varying amounts of ink drops, it was hard to stop. How To Create Your Own Background Paper:  Use ink refills to add drops of color  onto Glossy White Cardstock (I used 4″ X 5-1/4″ pieces of Glossy White Cardstock).  Next, spritz the ink drops with water using a Stampin’ Spritzer.  Allow the color to spread and blot…
