Beautiful You Shaker Card

Last week at my card classes we made Shaker Cards.   After the class, I thought about how much I like Shaker Cards but don’t make them very often. So…the next day, I created this card. I made this card especially for my granddaughter’s birthday later this month.  She is a dancer, LOVES the color purple, and will be turning 10.  Can’t wait to “see”, or at least hear about, her response. Happy Birthday, Dave!

Today is my husband’s birthday!  I did my own take on the “floating frame technique” to create this card.  Being in Florida for Dave’s birthday makes the Tropical Chic stamp set the perfect choice.  He loves plants, flowers, and especially hibiscus.  I can’t wait to see his response when he opens this card!
