A Simple Sympathy Card with Sheltering Tree Stamp Set

Stamp Set – Sheltering Tree, Thoughts & Prayers
Ink – Pear Pizzaz, So Saffron, Tip Top Taupe
Cardstock – Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White
Accessories – Versamark, Embossing Buddy, Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Snail Adhesive

I turned this thinking of you card into a sympathy card by stamping a sentiment from the “Thoughts & Prayers” stamp set inside the card.  Actually, I heat embossed the sentiment inside the card with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder; it matches the embossed tree on the front of the card.

I always like to have sympathy cards on hand.  When I need a sympathy card, I’m not usually in the mood to stamp.   I just want to select a card from my stash and put it in the mail.
