Brighten Someone’s Day!

Do you remember the last time you received a card in the mail? In a sea of junk mail and bills, a card is a simple thing that really stands out to the person who receives it.

Sending a card is a small gesture that shows just how much you care about that special someone in your life.

With World Card Making Day coming up on October 1, celebrate by making and sending a handmade card to someone who could use a little recognition, love, or just a boost (which is anyone, really!).

I sent this card to my upline, Mary Fish to celebrate her achievement of  $1 Million in Stampin’ Up! sales, career to date!

Stamping Tip:  I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder as a stamp.  That means I inked up the embossing folder and pressed it onto the cardstock.  I did not run it through the Big Shot.  The Hip Hip Hooray comes from the set Party Pop-Up Thinlits.

Here is another card I created using the Love You Lots stamp set.  When I had the stamp set handy, I was inspired to make a second card.  Sometimes it saves time to use something multiple times instead of putting it away and having to get it back out again a day or 2 later.

Stamp Set – Love You Lots, Sprinkles of Life
Ink – Archival Basic Black, Night of Navy, Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand
Cardstock – Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White
Accessories – Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folder, Layering Ovals Framelits,  Big Shot,  Magnetic Platform, Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker, Aquapainter, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Purchase the Love You Lots exclusive host stamp set with Host Rewards Dollars.  Earn Host Dollars when you have a qualifying order.  Place an order yourself or  set a date so you can host a Stampin’ Up!  class or workshop with your family and friends.
