“You’re Sublime” has the Cutest Camper

Camper

When I first saw the stamp set “You’re Sublime” in the new catalog, I knew I was going to buy that set.  All of the images are cute, but for me – with the camper image, it was love at first sight!  My husband and I like to camp in the summer here in Wisconsin and in Florida in the winter.

This card is headed to a friend who is a fellow camping enthusiast; I wanted to send a thank you since she treated me to Starbucks earlier this week.

Stamp Set – You’re Sublime
Ink – Black StazOn, Pool Party, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Island Indigo
Cardstock – Whisper White, Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper
Accessories – Linen Thread, Aquapainter, Silver Sequin Trim, Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive, Clear Block D, Stampin’ Trimmer

Stamping Tip:  The camper was stamped onto the Whisper White cardstock with Black StazOn which helps prevent bleeding of the colored ink when using aquapainters and blender pens.

If you are a camper or have family and friends who camp, you may want to add the “You’re Sublime” stamp set to your wish list or buy it now.  Don’t forget to check out the new Weekly Deals when you are making out your list of things to purchase.  It’s always great to save money and take advantage of Stampin’ Up! promotions!  🙂

Sprinkles on the Cupcake of Life

CASED from Jennie Maier

Stamp Set – Sprinkles of Life
Ink – Watermelon Wonder
Cardstock – Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White, Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories – Cherry on Top Washi Tape, Banner Triple Punch, Tree Builder Punch, 1-3/4″ and 2″ Circle Punches, Circles Collection Framelits, Stampin’ Dimensionals

When you see a card that you think is perfect, sometimes you just have to CASE (copy and share everything) it.  This is one of those times.  I CASED this from another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Jennie Maier.  Sometimes I change it up a bit to make it my own, but this time I copied it!

And it’s ok – you don’t have to come up with original designs all of the time.  Just give credit to the person whose design you used.   I am honored if anyone wants to duplicate my designs!  And if I have inspired you, please shop on-line for your stamping supplies.

The Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack is a 6″ X 6″ pad of paper, 48 sheets – 4 each of 12 designs and only $8.00.  A real bargain that you shouldn’t miss out on.

Quick and Easy Set of Cards!

CASED from Stampin SuccessHere is a quick set of cards which I made using the Tin of Cards stamp set and Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.  I wanted to show you that the stamp set can be used independently of the Tin of Cards Project Kit.  But I do LOVE that Project Kit!

Card Recipe

Stamp Set – Tin of Cards
Ink – Momento Black
Cardstock – Very Vanilla, Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories – Stampin’ Pierce Mat (allows you to get a crisp image with the photopolymer stamps), Snail Permanent Adhesive

For these cards, I cut the printed paper to 3″ X 3″.  That way, I could make 4 cards with a 6″ X 6″ sheet of designer series paper.

Did you know that the Pretty Petals Paper Stack is only $8.00 for a 6″ X 6″ stack of 48 sheets?

AND…you can purchase a combination pack of cardstock that coordinates with the paper stack?

The Pretty Petals Cardstock Pack contains 24 sheets of cardstock for only $7.00 and includes 8 pieces each of Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, and Old Olive.  Perfect coordination for all of your stamping/scrapbooking projects!

FYI: I will be holding a Stamp a Stack Card Class on Sunday July 12th.  Each person will make 16 cards using the Tin of Cards Project Kit.  Four each of the four card designs pictured below.  Class fee includes the cute tin box, complete with 9 file tab dividers, to put your finished cards in.  There will also be plenty of room to store additional cards that you make .  The tin box with lid measures 6-3/4″ X 4″ X 5-3/8″.   You won’t want to miss this class – now is the time to sign up.
