Something Fishy – Seaside Shore

I CASED this from page 52 of the 2017-2018 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  I added the backgroud paper and changed the shape of the Whisper White panel to make it my own but the inspiration came straight from the catalog!

And that’s ok.  You can do it too!  If you like a card or project you can copy something exactly or change it up a little bit.  Every card doesn’t have to be a unique design and if you find something that’s perfect, why make more work for yourself by trying not to copy it?

The only thing is that you should try and give credit to the person whose design you copied; especially if you are posting a photo of your creation online somewhere.

Ink – Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzaz, Pool Party, Sahara Sand

Flower Shop gets an Update!

Here is another card I made from the background paper I created with Glossy White Cardstock and Ink Refills last month.  I love how each one is unique!  For directions on how I did it, see my original post.

This card features a tried and true stamp set, Flower Shop, which stands out against a fresh and fun background.  Both the flowers and the sentiment were heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  This card is bright and fun, just like perfect summer days here in Wisconsin.
