Ocean Friends Birthday!
Here is a Sneak Peek of an upcoming stamp set. The new products will be available on 1-7-2025 when the January to April 2025 Mini Catalog is released.
Stamp Set – Ocean Friends
Ink – Blueberry Bushel, Summer Splash
Cardstock – Blueberry Bushel, Summer Splash, Basic White, Friends of the Ocean DSP
Accessories – Ocean Friends Dies, Soft Waves Embossing Folder, Sunny Days Iridescent Dots, Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Below you can see how I stamped the envelope & what I put on the inside of the card.
I sent this card to my son who celebrates his birthday 2 days after Christmas each year. To be fair, he was due on January 29th but decided to make an early arrival and made his Dad happy as an extra tax deduction that year! LOL!
Inside sentiment is from the upcoming One More Year stamp set.
Stamping Tip: The images on the card front were cropped from the Friends of the Ocean patterned paper using the Ocean Friends dies. I love when Stampin’ Up! coordinates the dies to the paper. Easy, Peasy card making!

My son took Jessalyn out of our lives 18 years ago when she less than 18 months old. She reconnected a few years ago which warmed my heart more than I can tell you and we’ve been in touch off and on. But, recently my son must have found out that she was corresponding with me, however infrequently, because Jessalyn not only quit responding to my emails, she deleted herself from all social media.
I was devastated because I had been hoping after she turned 18 that we would be able to meet in person again. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
Jessalyn found me through this blog initially, so I am hopeful that she will see this post and know that I think of her daily and have never stopped loving her. The last I heard from her was that she was transferring from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire to the University of Wyoming to study pharmacy.
Like all of the other cards I have created for her in the past 18 years, this birthday card will go in a special box. One day I hope that I am able to give her the box and she can open the box. It is filled with remembrances & love notes that I have created/written over the years.
Hoping for a Christmas miracle! Jessalyn – if you see this, please know that I love you and would love to share my Florida life with you.
